Trash Information
Trash pickup day is on Wednesday for areas east of Hwy. 61-67, (City Hall side), Riverview, Mississippi, Spring/Elm and Commercial. If you live on the QT side or Cracker Barrel side, trash pickup day is Tuesday; " The Prairies", "Providence" or "Stonewater", trash pickup is on Fridays. If you participate in the optional recycling program, Monday is the pick-up day for all recyclables.
Yard waste will be picked up on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from May-October. Nov.-April only on the 3rd Wednesday and must be placed in brown paper yard waste bags (not plastic bags) or can marked clearly as yard waste. Limbs will be picked up if they are bundled together and are no longer than 4 foot in length.
Residents are allowed to put out their toter plus 3-33 gallon cans or 5-33 gallons bags without purchasing a sticker from City Hall. Any additional cans or bags exceeding these limits must be accompanied with a $1.00 sticker purchased from the City.
Bulk items will be picked up on Monday's and on an "on call" basis. Contact City Hall before the close of business on the Friday before the Monday collection, items that will not be picked up are as follows: tires, car parts, motors, oil, broken glass and paint cans.
Appliances: A $10.00 sticker must be purchased from the City and applied to the item. **Anything that has Freon in it must have a certified sticker on it stating that all Freon and gases have been professionally removed.**
Tags for extra trash and appliances can be purchased at City Hall in the Water Department.
Trash, bulk items, recyclables and yard waste must be set out by 6:00 AM on scheduled pick-up days.

Recycling Information
CWI of Missouri is totally committed to improving the Recycle Program and increasing the participation rate.
CWI is currently taking all recyclables to Southside Recycling, 4076 Bayless at Highway 55 in South County. In order to continue taking recyclables, only accept good/clean recycle items. Any unacceptable items will left in the Recycle Bin.
ACCEPTABLE RECYCLE ITEMS
1) A. Tin/Steel food and beverage containers
B. Aluminum food and beverage containers
2) Plastics – Only #1PETE and #2 HDPE items.
3) Cardboard – Corrugated boxes, cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.
4) New print – The Post-Dispatch, local Journal papers, magazines, office papers,
(Newspapers should be removed from plastic wrappers)
ALL CONTAINERS MUST BE RINSED CLEAN OF ANY TYPE OF LIQUID OR SOLIDS.
NO GLASS IS ACCEPTABLE.
Tin/steel/aluminum and plastic containers should be placed in one recycle bin and cardboard/newsprint in another recycle bin.
